it’s been about 2 weeks after i got my shaman to 80 and there have been a lot of changes to him.
i leveled him from 1 to about 75 as an enhancement shaman which i think he had enough good abilities to solo some group quests, especially in outland. when i hit northrend for the first time, i didn’t level alone. the need of soloing capability had faded a bit so i turned him elemental until i reach 80.
with my priest being 71, i thought i’d make him a healer so i wanted to keep shaman dpsing. in one heroic run, i was elemental which was fine then i went back to try enhancement in the instance… it was tough! being a ranged class like forever, it was that easy for me to pick the target, hit it from behind, etc. i knew melee wasn’t made for me, just yet.
after that run, i switched to restoration and got my other shaman friend to switch back to elemental… i think i’m hooked.
so now my shaman is a healer, willingly. i got him into a naxx10 run (after our unsuccessful “undying” attempt) and came out with lots of healing loots (nice!)
